Individual Counseling - Individual counseling is offered for men and women struggling with life circumstances, sleep or mood issues. Psychotherapy helps with general anxiety, depression, chronic insomnia, grief, career, phase of life, relationship issues (dating,separation, divorce, family conflicts, domestic violence, resentments), women's issues, addiction recovery, trauma, and personal growth. Approaches to individual therapy are client-centered and supportive. Lifestyle issues are sometimes addressed as well for client's seeking ways to feel better physically and emotionally. To treat insomnia, CBT-I can be an approach that is very effective. For emotionally charged experiences that affect present day living, EMDR can be used. Other counseling approaches can include CBT, ACT, DBT, self hypnosis, and guided meditation.
